Terms of Use
1. Acceptance
GoWrist is developed and provided by Dinh Tuan Thanh ("we"). By downloading or using GoWrist you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. Your licence to use the app obtained from the App Store is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement; these terms supplement it.
2. The service
GoWrist provides motorbike (and car) navigation in Vietnam on iPhone and can show turn guidance on HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 / GT 6 / GT 7. Routing, search and maps need an Internet connection to GoWrist's servers. The watch feature needs the Huawei Health app on the iPhone, a paired watch and the GoWrist watch app.
3. Road safety — important
- You are solely responsible for riding safely and obeying the Road Traffic Order and Safety Law. Road signs, signals, markings and traffic officers always take precedence over GoWrist's guidance.
- Enter destinations, change settings or touch the phone only when stopped in a safe place. Never hold the phone while riding; use a secure mount and follow the law on using phones and audio devices while riding.
- Only glance at the watch or screen; voice guidance and vibration are there so you need not look for long.
- Routes may include roads under construction, flooded, temporarily closed, closed to motorbikes or one-way where the data is not yet updated. Speed limits shown may be missing or wrong. Use your own judgement.
- Do not rely on GoWrist in emergencies or to control any vehicle autonomously.
4. Map data
Maps, routes and places are based on data © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL), built by a community and possibly incomplete or inaccurate. Report issues to us or fix them on OpenStreetMap. Open-source components and licences are listed in the app: Cài đặt (Settings) → Thông tin (About).
5. Free plan and GoWrist Pro
- Free: unlimited iPhone navigation. Watch navigation is unlimited for 7 days from the first trip the watch shows, then 2 trips per week. Full rules are in the app (GoWrist Pro → Miễn phí → "Luật gói Miễn phí").
- GoWrist Pro unlocks unlimited watch navigation for the plan's duration. Day (24 hours) and Week (7 days) passes are one-time purchases that do not renew; a pass bought while one is active starts when it ends. Month and Year are auto-renewing subscriptions.
- Prices are shown in the app and on the App Store in Vietnamese đồng, taxes included. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: Month/Year renew at the same price and duration unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; Apple charges the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Cancel in the app ("Quản lý gói đăng ký") or in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. After cancelling, Pro stays active until the paid period ends.
- Trials and offers: Year may include a 7-day free trial and Month a discounted first month; one introductory offer per Apple ID per subscription group. If not cancelled before a free trial ends, the subscription starts charging.
- Refunds are decided by Apple under its policies (in the app: "Yêu cầu hoàn tiền", or reportaproblem.apple.com). We do not receive or refund payments directly.
- Purchases follow your Apple ID; use "Khôi phục giao dịch" (Restore Purchases) on another iPhone.
- Subscription price or benefit changes follow App Store rules, with prior notice, and never affect a period you have already paid for.
6. Huawei watches
The watch feature relies on Huawei Wear Engine and the Huawei Health app, which we do not control and cannot guarantee. HUAWEI, HUAWEI WATCH, HUAWEI WATCH GT and Huawei Health are trademarks of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. iPhone and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. GoWrist is an independent app, not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Huawei or Apple.
7. Prohibited use
- Calling GoWrist's servers outside the GoWrist app, bulk downloading maps or data, or overloading the servers.
- Reverse engineering or modifying the app to bypass free plan limits or purchase checks, except where the law allows.
- Using GoWrist for any unlawful purpose.
We may block access that breaks these rules.
8. Intellectual property
The GoWrist app, name and icon belong to Dinh Tuan Thanh. Open-source components and map data belong to their authors and are used under their licences (Cài đặt → Thông tin).
9. Changes and discontinuation
We may update features and map data or pause servers for maintenance. If we discontinue the service we will give at least 30 days' notice in the app and on this page, and running subscriptions will not renew.
10. Limitation of liability
GoWrist is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, losses from following guidance without observing real conditions, map data errors, or outages of networks, Apple or Huawei; our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for GoWrist in the previous 12 months. Nothing here limits your rights under Vietnam's Consumer Protection Law or other rules that cannot be excluded.
11. Changes to these terms
We update the date above when these terms change; material changes are announced in the app. Continuing to use GoWrist means you accept the new terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes are first settled by negotiation by email, otherwise by a competent court in Vietnam.
